Strawberry Fields // Styled Wedding Film Feature on Polkadot Bride

Last year we had to do the hardest thing ever. That is, work on a styled film and then wait months for a publish date and keep it a secret that whole time! But finally here we are and it has been featured on Polkadot Bride. Honestly, a year ago, I never even thought in my wildest dreams that we would be featured on such amazing blogs!

The shoot was dreamed up by Khesanh of The Beauty Case after seeing a single image of a strawberry with a ring on it. She met with us weeks before the shoot at A Darling Affair (which is coming up soon ladies and Gents) and asked if we would like to come along. Um, heck yeah, I would love to shoot something like that, Kris you have no choice. Even though there was plenty of inspiration flying back and forth, this shoot really was unique. I’m sure the owners of the Strawberry fields (at beerwah) have never hosted a fake wedding before! Tisa from Moments in Vintage, was just lovely, and after scouring the entire plot for the best spot to set up, she picked the least expected spot under the shed with all the machinery. And it was flippen AWESOME. Kim, of Ale & Kim Photography is a film photographer, and I swear her photos came out looking like paintings. Considering she was shooting film, she was so laid back and relaxed. LOVED, hanging out with these guys, LOVE my job! Also I cannot forget to mention the super bubbly Marie (& Troy) from Maries Sweet Tables. You’ll remember we made a timelapse film for them. You’ll see in the photos the super cute job she did. Then the ladies from The Beauty Case showed up, and oh my goodness did it get exciting, they are the happiest bubbly two you will ever meet. Seriously. Not to mention that we ended up with an audience of Korean strawberry pickers, im sure they wanted to be in the film.
